Oct.23.- Slovenians went to the polls to elect a new president on Sunday. The favourites -the conservative MEP Loyze Peterle and the rather left-leaning politicians Danilo Türk and Mitja Gaspari- ran a neck-and-neck race in which none of them was able to win a clear majority. According to the preliminary results, Peterle will enter the second round but it's not yet clear who his adversary will be [Türk or Gaspari] ...
