Bangkok, Thailand (Thomson Financial), Jul.6.- A military-appointed council on Friday approved its final draft of a new constitution that is meant to guide Thailand back to democracy after last year's coup. 'The voting is unanimous. There are 98 people voting for this draft of the constitution -- there was no vote against and no abstention,' said Noranit Sethaputra, president of the Constitution Drafting Assembly. Now that the Constitution Drafting Assembly has approved the document, 19 million copies of the 150-page charter will be distributed to every household ahead of the country's first referendum.
